Field verification using ARAV’s retrofit autonomous/remote system “Model E” was conducted for MLIT’s “FY2024 Field Verification of Automation and Teleoperation Technology for Construction Machinery.”

We conducted a demonstration experiment and opinion exchange regarding the safety of autonomous construction machinery as part of the MLIT’s “Field Verification of Safety Rules and Functional Requirements.”
