ARAV Co., Ltd. has been selected as a target company for the “Field Verification of Automation and Teleoperation Technologies for Construction Machinery Construction” conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).
ARAV Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Reyes Itsuki Shiraku), which develops and implements teleoperation of construction machinery using retrofittable attachments, as well as autonomous driving technology and simulators, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a target company for the “Field Verification of Safety Rules and Functional Requirements” conducted by the MLIT.
■ Purpose and Content:
We were selected as an operator to perform field verification of autonomous construction machinery in a verification field for the purpose of formulating Safety Rules Ver. 2.0 and machinery functional requirements based on the “Safety Rules for Autonomous Construction Ver. 1.0” established in March.
In the verification, we plan to conduct field tests using our proprietary retrofit autonomous driving and teleoperation systems, Model V and Model E.
