NTT Com and ARAV conducted a demonstration experiment to remotely operate a snowplow from approximately 400km away.
On November 22, 2023, ARAV Co., Ltd. and NTT Communications Corporation conducted a demonstration experiment (hereinafter “this demonstration”) to remotely operate a snowplow installed in Chiba Prefecture from a cockpit in Miyagi Prefecture.
By conducting a demonstration that combines a construction machinery remote control system with a high-precision positioning system and low-latency video transmission, we aim to achieve autonomous driving for snowplows.
