Personal Information Protection Policy
ARAV Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), under the philosophy that as a business entity promoting DX at construction sites and contributing to society, it is in a position to demonstrate norms for the appropriate handling of personal information, recognizes the importance of handling personal information appropriately, has established this Personal Information Protection Policy, and its officers and employees will work together to comply with it, doing its utmost to protect personal information and the rights and interests of individuals.
- When acquiring personal information, we will specify the purpose of use as much as possible and acquire personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose.
- When acquiring personal information directly from the individual in writing, we will inform them of our company name, the name and contact information of the personal information protection manager, the purpose of use, etc., and then acquire the personal information within the necessary scope.
- The use of personal information will be within the scope of the purpose of use to which the individual has consented.
- In addition, we will establish and implement procedures to take necessary measures to prevent use for other purposes.
- We will manage the personal information we hold in an appropriate manner and will not disclose or provide it to third parties without the consent of the individual.
- We will manage the personal information we hold in an accurate and up-to-date state within the necessary scope according to the purpose of use, and will take reasonable safety measures against risks such as leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, and strive for prevention and correction.
- When outsourcing the processing of personal information, we will obligate the contractor by contract not to leak it or provide it to third parties, and will implement appropriate management of the contractor.
- We will respond to complaints and consultations regarding the personal information we hold by contacting our inquiry desk.
- We will comply with laws and regulations, guidelines set by the government, and other norms regarding the handling of personal information.
- We will establish a personal information protection management system, review it periodically, and continuously improve it.
ARAV Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding all personal information handled in the services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") and the Company's business.
Handling of Personal Information and User Information
- In this Policy, "Personal Information" shall mean personal information as defined by Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
- In addition, in accordance with our policy of "emphasizing the protection of user privacy," we define information that does not strictly fall under personal information but which the Company treats as equivalent to personal information as far as practically possible, and call this "User Information" together with personal information.
- This Policy sets forth our policy regarding the handling of User Information in addition to the user's personal information.
- This Policy constitutes an important part of the terms of use regarding the Service.
- Users of the Service should read this Policy carefully, and if they cannot agree to its contents, they shall not use the Service.
- The Company may provide third parties, such as business partners, with aggregated data such as statistical data generated from User Information that has been processed to exclude any correspondence with specific individuals.
- The provision of personal information to third parties will be carried out in accordance with "5. Provision to Third Parties" of this Policy.
- The Company provides an opt-out procedure to prevent User Information acquired by the Company through the Service from being provided to third parties.

- Please note that since the Service is provided using User Information, if you take the opt-out procedure, you may not be able to use important functions of the Service.
User Information to be Collected and Collection Methods
- In this Policy, "Personal Information" shall mean personal information as defined by Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

Purpose of Use of User Information
The Company will use collected User Information within the scope of the following purposes (hereinafter referred to as "Purposes of Use"):
- For the acceptance of registration, identity verification, calculation of usage fees, etc., and for the provision, maintenance, protection, improvement, and expansion of the Service;
- For responding to guidance, inquiries, etc., regarding the Service;
- For responding to acts that violate the Company's terms, policies, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Terms, etc.") regarding the Service;
- For notifying changes to the Terms, etc., regarding the Service;
- For creating aggregate data or statistical data based on User Information that is aggregated and excludes correspondence with specific individuals;
- For creating new data by combining information collected from other services provided by the Company with other information;
- For recruitment selection and communication;
- For conducting surveys;
- For providing information considered useful to users, such as advertisements or promotions of the Company's or third parties' products (including sending direct mail and emails);
- For research, statistics, and analysis of marketing data;
- For purposes incidental to the above Purposes of Use.
Provision to Third Parties
Among User Information, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the user's prior consent, except in cases where disclosure is permitted based on this Policy, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or other laws and regulations.
However, this does not apply to the following cases:
- When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the Purposes of Use;
- When personal information is provided due to the succession of business resulting from a merger or other reasons;
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or a person entrusted by them in performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the user's consent is likely to impede the performance of such affairs;
- In other cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations.
Use of Anonymously Processed Information
The Company will create, acquire by transfer, use, manage, and provide anonymously processed information in compliance with laws and regulations.
Management of Contractors
The Company may outsource its business within the scope necessary to achieve the Purposes of Use. In this case, the Company will require the contractor to handle the User Information provided by the Company appropriately and will perform appropriate management.
Disclosure of Personal Information
When a user requests disclosure of personal information based on the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company will disclose it to the user without delay after confirming that the request is from the user themselves.
However, this shall not apply if the Company is not obligated to disclose it under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations. Please note that a fee (1,000 yen per case) will be charged for the disclosure of personal information and notification of the purpose of use.

Procedures for Changing the Privacy Policy
The Company will review the operational status regarding the handling of User Information as appropriate, strive for continuous improvement, and may change this Policy as necessary. Any changes will be posted on the Service or the Company's website.
However, in the case of changes that require the user's consent under laws and regulations, the Company shall obtain the user's consent by a method prescribed by the Company.
